Chrysler K-Car Club has MOVED!!!

1st Unofficial Club Meeting - Friday, December 21st - 4-9 PM

Members and Visitors,

We are going to have our first unofficial club meeting on Friday, December 21st at the famous Bob's Big Boy Restaurant in Toluca Lake. Basically, we are going to participate in the free and fun classic car cruise in that is sponsored here every Friday. The show lasts from 5-10PM. Parking is going to limited, so for this one special time we are going to have to be there early. It would be best to be there at 4PM. Yes, I know traffic will be heavy, but our meetings will be at different locations every month. Here is a list of those that will be there:

Matthew with his 82 Aries=Has to confirm with his boss
Robert with his 86 LeBaron=Will be there for sure.
Will talk to his boss
Myself with my 89 Aries=Will be there for sure.
David with his 86 LeBaron=I will call him tommorrow
Marcy with her 86 LeBaron=I will call her tommorrow
Shannon with his 89 Aries=I will call him tommorrow

For sure, two of us will be there to start the meetings. If all you can show up, that would be great. The club is growing and we are going to have the
biggest K car show ever at the Spring Fling May 2008 in Van Nuys.

2nd Chrysler K Car Show in 15 DAYS. Need answers.

Dear Member or Visitor,

At the moment, I have received very little feedback. Those of you who I thought for sure would be at the show have either opted not to come or not responded to my emails. If none of you show up, I guess it will just be Mr. Freeman and myself. That will make only a mere 2 cars. There were 3 cars at the first show. I had hoped we could do better than that. I have worked very hard to make this club a reality and a benefit for you and I. I understand that most of you may not be as passionate as I am or have other commitments. But, it would be considered common courtesy for you members to at least send me an email or give me a call at (818) 219-2587. It does not have to be a commitment. At least give me some feedback as I attempt to put on a good show.

This email is a reminder that the 2nd Chrysler K Car Show ever put on is in exactly 15 days. It will be at Fall Fling 2007 Mopar show in Van Nuys, Ca. at the same location as the first show was during Spring Fling on May 6th, 2007. I need to know as who is definitely going to be there, who wants to be there and is not sure, and who will not be there. We need as many volunteers as possible. If you have not joined the club yet, you might consider it as the club provides many benefits for the daily driver such as technical assistance and an online chat forum.

In addition, we need a few volunteers to provide a small table, some chairs, and two poles to hold up a banner. I purchased a booth at this show. The club now has its own banner and will be advertising at this show. The volunteers will need to come early as it will be a battle to try to reserve a spot for the cars and the table. The gates open at 8AM.

Moreover, John Culiberk of Pennsylvania is designing the club shirt and hat right now. The price range for the club uniform will be between $20 and $30 dollars. Are any of you interested in purchasing this uniform? Please let me know. It may be too late now to get the uniform by the show, but we will see what we can do. None of you have responded about this offer.

Finally, how many of you would be interested in a short K car ride to a restaurant after the show for lunch. The show ends at 1PM. I think it would be cool to have a couple or more K cars driving together on the road for people to see. We would map out a short route of a few miles to a local restaurant where we could have lunch before we head home for the weekend.

At the moment, we have heard that Mr. Matthew Potter of Pasadena will be there with his rare 82 Aries Wagon, Mr.Calisch with his 84 LeBaron Convertible, Mr. Whalen from Palm Springs with his two LeBarons, and myself with my 89 Aries Coupe. That makes 5 cars so far. There are a few others who have mentioned the possibility of coming down to the show. The club plans to make this the biggest show we have ever put on. They have a whole bunch of technical people over there. Our club is affiliated with them and membership in this forum only requires a password. Also, where are you from?
